Lolcats cause uproar in SmartCat community

The SmartCat community is enraged with the recent accession in popularity of cat macro, the preferred English dialect of lolcats.

"We SmartCats have worked tirelessly to promote the highly educated cat community, and these lolcats come along and deprecate our name," says Prof. Rufus Youngfellow of Paws University, seen in the picture above.

"Lolcats cumunity can has no problum with SmartCats but can has apolugy if wees been bad but wees kno no uthr ways to speek," says Snuggles, a spokescat for the Lolcats Colishun of Amurca, in response to the SmartCats' outrage.

The formal apology was accepted by the SmartCats, who have started a mentoring program for young lolcats designed to teach them proper cat grammar.
